When a slay-maker teams up with a slayer, the result is everything everyone wants to see lined up on the runway and purchase in the end. Working together for close to four years as a team; designer and muse, Sima Brew has unveiled her 2019 ‘Bridal Series Collection’ in collaboration with Accra Marriott Hotel and it stars Zynnell Lydia Zuh.
Taking over the Instagram feed of the designer extraordinaire are series of photos with Zynnell as poster girl cladded in red coloured Kente fabric accessorised with a red flower inspired headpiece made by Yaa Serwaah. The collection is a fusion of history and tradition cemented with modernity taste for style lovers. Sima captioned beneath her Instagram post, “I like things to be modern and still have a bit of tradition. I believe in history.”
The relationship between Sima and Zynnell extends beyond just a photo model and designer partnership. Both Glitz Style Awards multiple winners in the categories of Most Stylish Movie Personality and Red Carpet Designer respectively, they share red carpet glories and praises whenever Zynnell makes an appearance in a Sima Brew ensemble. Almost every gown that has had camera flashes in her direction, including the dramatic blue sleeve gown she wore to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2017, has always had a touch of Sima on the ensemble for the glow.
Berla Mundi, Selly Galley and Empress Jamila are the handful of leading female fashion and style patrons who have partnered with Sima Brew Clothing brand for the unveiling of their previous collections.
