From playing lead roles in Gollywood films to casting colleague A-listers Nadia Buari and Yvonne Okoro, Yvonne Nelson is rolling up her sleeves for her next big thing ‘Area Code’.
The show which is under her production company ‘YN’ features the day life of a guest celebrity in a ride-along interview answering the most controversial questions surrounding their career, personal life while giving show host Jacinta Ocansey an inside look of their favorite hang-out places in the capital, Accra
A snippet video of how the show is going to be was recently released on Yvonne’s Instagram handle and it stars big names such as; Okoro, Martha Ankomah, KiDi, Becca, James Gardiner, Edem, Efya, D Black, Prince David Osei, Nikki Samonas, Adjetey Anang and the show producer herself Yvonne.
Elevating her acting career to an executive producer, Yvonne has produced cinema favorite films that have recorded huge sales and massive turn-ups at premiers both in and outside Ghana. Her recent work was ‘Fix Us’, which tells the story of three young ladies who take on a journey of faith and fate. When Naadie, Chioma and Jaya run into each other at an audition, they are bound by their common dream to be movie stars and form a friendship that can hardly be broken. But when their dreams are eventually actualized, they soon realize that they want even something more from life. Something more that money cannot buy. Something more that fame cannot give. Something more that they must find for themselves.
