Ahead of the official launch of Beyoncé’s Ivy Park x Adidas collection on Saturday January 18, the singer is already gifting some heavy weight celebrities an entire closet stocked with items from the upcoming collection.
Loaded with tracksuits, crop tops and other unisex items, American stars such as Cardi B, Yara Shahidi, Issa Rae, Larvene Cox and Quincy Brown were home delivered their closet of the Ivy Park collection.
Already rocking the label in style, Shahidi showed up at the Build Studio in New York City to discuss her TV Show ‘Grown-ish’ wearing an oversized two-piece Ivy Park tracksuit.
Upon the delivery of the items, the actress captioned beneath her post ‘It’s officially my fave day,’ standing in between the branded cloths.
An excited Cardi B, pulled up a loud shoutout to the Beyhive throne owner after coming home to meet her Ivy Park closet awaiting to be unzipped by her. “Oh …I just got home and look what I got. …Beyoncé dead done gave me a closet,” screamed Cardi in the video.
In her January 2020 Elle magazine cover story interview, the ‘Single Ladies’ singer talked the inspiration behind the making of the collection, “It is a dream come true to re-launch IVY PARK as the sole owner,” she previously said. “My team has worked hard with the Adidas team in bringing my vision to life for this first collection and I am grateful and proud. From the accessories to the clothes and footwear, I wanted to design and re-imagine pieces that serve as favorite armor for anyone who acknowledges the strength in their individual style and lives freely and boldly.”
According to Beyoncé, the collection is an embodiment of her personal style. “It incorporates my personal style and expands that to include something for everyone. I love experimenting with fashion, mixing high and low, sportswear with couture, even masculine and feminine. This new line is fun and lends itself to creativity, the ultimate power.”
