Beautiful Boy star actor Timothee Chalamet will receive the 2018 Best Supporting Actor Award at the 22nd Hollywood Film Awards. Chalamet will be honored for his performance in the Amazon Studio’s movie Beautiful Boy.
The young actor made his acting debut by starring in the 2017 gay love story movie ‘Call Me By Your Name’. He scored his first Oscar nomination in 2017 and doubled as the youngest nominated Oscar nominee in history at age 21. He again received the Hollywood Breakout Performance Award last year by the Hollywood Awards and has since then become the Hollywood sweet boy.
Chalamet will receive the Honoree Award alongside actress Rachel Weisz, who will also receive the Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in Fox Searchlight’s, The Favorite. Chalamet and Rachel join the likes of Nicole Kidman, who will receive this year’s Hollywood Career Achievement Award as announced earlier.
The Hollywood Film Awards, founded in 1997 celebrates individuals in Hollywood for their spectacular performance in film making. The honoree ranges from artists in the categories of Cinematography, Visual Effects, Film Composing, Costume Design, Editing, Production Design, Sound and Makeup & Hairstyling. It’s 22nd edition will take place on Sunday, November 4 at The Beverly Hilton.
