There is a new way of wearing headbands: Fendi introduces

At the Fendi runway show in Milan, the Italian fashion house introduced a new culture of wearing the regular headband pieces taking it from the usual head front placement to the backside (a new system that featured the Hadid sisters on the runway).

Brought in to accessorize printed tea dresses, swaddling knits and biker jumpsuits that models strutted the runway with, the upside-down headbands were neatly cast in quilted pastel leather, ruched teal silk and butterscotch suede.

For the purpose of giving the headband the right angle to be placed, celebrity hairstylist Sam McKnight, who was the mastermind behind all hairdos for the show had to draw inspiration from the  ‘Star Wars’ movie hairstyling bun  to help get a balance, “They’re kind of old couture, worn on the back of the head. They’re a little bit Star Wars princess-y because we wanted a return to elegance, but one that’s slightly more unexpected.”

So, ladies for your next outing try switching things up with the headgear new direction on the head.
