The 2018 BET awards took place Sunday night at Los Angeles. The event was hosted by Actor/Comedian, Jamie Foxx.
DJ Khaleed was the highest nominee for the night with six nods but pulled off just one win. Kendrick Lamar followed suite with five nominations and won for Album of the Year . Black Panthers’ cast, Chadwick Boseman, Michel B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o all scored nominations for the 2018 BET awards.
The night ended with Nigerian Artist, Davido, winning the Best International Act award the second time after his win in 2014. Black Panther won the Best Movie award and Chadwick Boseman won Best Actor for Black Panther.
