The African films library on Netflix will have the latest addition to its growing number as Shirley Frimpong-Manso’s critically acclaimed feature ‘The Perfect Picture 10 Years Later’ will premiere on the platform next month, July.
With a stellar cast ensemble led by Jackie Appiah, Lydia Forson and Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku, ‘The Perfect Picture 10 Years Later’ centers around the lives of the three friends Dede (Lydia), Aseye (Jackie) and Akasi (Naa Ashorkor) battling with consequences from their ten years ago made mistakes, whiles faced with disturbing issues surrounding their marriage and relationships.
The film becomes the second installment from Shirley stationed on the streaming platform, after the 2017 comedy picture ‘Potato Potahto’.
In less than a year after its theater release in Ghana and Nigeria, ‘The Perfect Picture 10 Years Later’ has received outstanding reviews and massive award titles and nominations. Gloria Sarfo’s first AMVCA win in the best supporting actress 2020 category is credited to her performance in the title.
The film also stars John Dumelo, Beverly Naya, Chris Attoh, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Gideon Okeke, Adjetey Anang, Joselyn Dumas and many others.
