Taylor Swift is going into 2020 with a force. The Billboard Woman of the Decade will headline the 2020 Glastonbury Music Festival, rated as the biggest music festival in the U.K.
Swift becomes the second headliner after Adele in 2016, and the sixth solo female headliner throughout the festival’s 50 years of existence. “Taylor is one of the biggest and best artists on the planet, and we’re just so pleased that she’s coming here to Worthy Farm to join us for our fiftieth birthday celebrations,” said festival co-organizer Emily Eavis.
The festival already has on its line-up Paul McCartney, who will headline the Saturday night activity, while Swift picks up the Sunday night. Along with them are Stormzy, Kylie Minogue, The Killers, The Cure and Janet Jackson.
“I’m ecstatic to tell you that I’ll be headlining Glastonbury on its 50th anniversary- see you there!” Swift captioned on Instagram on Sunday.
