Some came as Popes, Millitants and others went Number 12

As part of their stage craft for the 2018  Ghana meets Naija concert at the Fantasy Dome last Saturday, Ghanaian artistes mounted the stage in different costumes making statements surrounding recent happenings in the country. Some chose to bring out the Anas saga with their costume and others chose to depict the rescue mission agenda in their looks.

Stonebwoy

As the lead marshal of the Ghanaian rescue team, he did not only make a statement with his performance but also with his costume. The reigning Dancehall artiste of the year came on stage tailored in full  army clothes telling the Ghanaian public he is up for the rescue mission.

Kwami Eugene

As one of the most cheered on performers of the night, Kuami Eugene backed the strength of his stage craft with a daring military outfit, which proved it’s a battle for supremacy thing. If you found yourself inside the Dome or you watched his performance at the comfort of your home, you definitely must have jammed to his energetic performance.

Articlewan

In the wake of the #Number 12 controversy, Articlewan emulated the look of the trending Hero of the country, Anas Aremeyaw Anas. With scarf covering his face the artiste was probably hunting for anybody, who tries to go corrupt inside the Dome.

Patapaa

Im Patapeezy, the country is full of corrupt people, but through me God will deliver the country. The One Corner hit maker rescued Ghana not just with his electrifying performance, but also with his white red crossed angelic look.

Mugeez

If you are an ardent user on instagram, you might have chanced on fake Ghanaian 2cedi note with Kwesi Nyantakyi taking the spot of Tetteh Quarshie in an Arabian scarf. Did Mugeez channel that look with his pope inspired outfit for the night?

Ghana meets Naija is an annual Empire entertainment initiative that brings artistes from both Ghana and Nigeria to battle it out in music on one stage.
