Call him the most controversial artiste in Ghana, Shatta Wale has finally taken the step to join the league of married men in Ghana as he proposed to his longtime girlfriend and baby mama, Shatta Michy.
He made his intentions about Michy known at his Reign album concert last Saturday at the Fantasy Dome, where he took fans and Michy herself by surprise by going down on his knees to propose marriage to her in front of a large crowd. After their emotional moment on stage with the proposal, they both shared a kiss and sealed their performance with their hit single ‘Low Tempo’.
Shatta Wale on Sunday morning took to Instagram, where he shared a picture of them both kissing and captioned it “Shatta Michy and Shatta Wale another chapter of life”. The two since making their relationship public years back, have been in the news for countless breakups and reconciliations from issues of cheating to domestic assault. A date for their proposed marriage is yet-to-be-known.
