Sephora has announced, it’s no longer partnering with Olivia Jade Giannulli, after a careful review of the university cheating scandal allegations. They declared in a statement, “After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately.”
The last campaign she did for Sephora was in January this year, where she launched the Olivia jade x Sephora collection palette.
Olivia, a beauty blogger, social media star with 1.3 million followers to her belt and also a YouTuber credited with 1.9 million subscribers, is in the news with her mother Lori Loughlin, for paying their way through the university for the former at a price of $500,000. The explosion of the university cheating scandal has not been in favor of the YouTuber as popular brands she was an associate with have distanced themselves from her.
Lulus, has also plugged out their services from Olivia, after they last worked with her in August 2018. They told The Hollywood Reporter, “Lulus has not worked with Olivia Jade since August 2018 and we have no plans to do so in the future.”
Elsewhere in the dropping of mother and daughter from associate brands, Lori has been fired from Hallmark Channel, where she starred on the cabler’s series ‘When Calls the Heart’ and in the ‘Garage Sale Mystery’. “We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admission allegations,” the company said. “We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air in the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin, including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third-party production.”
