For the second year running, Scarlett Johansson tops Forbes list of highest paid actresses in Hollywood.
The ‘Black Widow’ actress accumulated a total of $56 million within the time period of June 1, 2018 to June 1, 2019. Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon make a comeback on the list at number two and three respectively with $44.1 million for the former and $35 million for the latter.
Academy award winning actress, Nicole Kidman jumps at No.4 with $34 million earning with ‘Friends’ alumnus Jennifer Aniston rounding up the top 5 column with $28 million. Newly accrued members on the annual list include Elizabeth Moss and Oscar nominee, Margot Robbie. Elizabeth checked with a million-dollar figure of $24 million (No.7) and Margot at No.8 with $23.5 million.
Others featured on the list include Ellen Pompeo (No.10, $22 million), Charlize Theron (No.9, $23 million) and Kaley Cuoco (No. 6, $25 million).
Collectively, the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood tallied a total of $314.6 million, before fees and taxes. The milestone according to Forbes is 69% more than last year’s cumulative total, but still less than the top ten actors $588.3 million total worth.
Per Forbes website’s publication, calculations are done using gathered data from Nielsen, ComScore, Box Office Mojo and IMDB, as well as interview with industry insiders. All figures are pretax; fees from agents, managers and lawyers, generally 10%, 15% and 5% respectively are not deducted.
