After a smash hit in African cinemas ten years ago 2009, Shirley Frimpong-Manso has reprised a sequel to the Africa Movie Academy Award-winning film ‘The Perfect Picture’, titled ‘The Perfect Picture 10 years later’.
Announced weeks ago of developing sequel, Shirley under her production banner ‘Sparrow Pictures’ has released an official poster for the upcoming film and it stars original cast members; Jackie Appiah, Lydia Forson, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku, Chris Attoh, Adjetey Anang and the newest member to ‘Perfect Picture’ club, Richard Mofe-Damijo.
The pending sequel is set to chronicle the love life of the three friends named Aseye (played by Jackie), Akasi (played by Naa Ashorkor) and Dede Botchway (played by Lydia), who all experienced a twisted love story 10 years ago per the story line but ended in a reunion between Aseye and her husband Larry Stevens (Chris Attoh), a wedding between Akasi and Fella Moses (Adjetey Anang) and a swear-off men by Dede.
Set for a December 14 release date in Ghana and December 20 in Nigeria, the tenyear’s revival also stars Gollywood icons Joselyn Dumas, Gloria Sarfo alongside Nollywood sweetheart Beverly Naya and Gideon Okeke.
‘The Perfect Picture’ 10 years later movie is written and directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso and executive produced by Shirley and Ken Attoh.
