Northern Region’s representative for the 2017 Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) reality show on TV3, Zeinab Abdul Mumin was crowned queen.
The show took place at the Accra International Conference Center.
After 13 weeks of hard work filled with praises, criticisms and evictions, four out of the ten contestants made it to the grand finale of the pageantry.
The 23-year-old Zeinab was finally crowned winner after three successive rounds of performances from the four finalists. She shrugged off stiff competition from Nana, Baaba, and Serwaa.
She did not only win the enviable coveted crown but also took home a KIA Sportage, a cash prize of GHC12,000 and will soon be on the Kenyan Airways to Dubai (Straight outta Ghana).
Helena Baaba Botchway, 26, the Central regional representative settled for the First Runner-up.
The third place or Second Runner-up went to 25-year-old Dorcas Asante Afful (Nana) from the Western region with Ivy Serwaa Sefa- Boateng, 23, Eastern regional representative coming Forth at the grand finale.
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners-up took home GHS 8,000, GHS 6,000, GHS2, 000 respectively.
With a simple but challenging advice; “To whom much is given, much is expected”, GMB 2016 winner, Yaaba from the Western region passed on the baton to Zeinab.
Zeinab is the second person to have been crowned winner of GMB from the Northern Region after Nasara in 2009.
Being the tenth winner since the inception of the show, she is also entitled to keep the crown as well.
