Multiple Grammy award-winning artist, Nicki Minaj, has made history by becoming the first female solo artist to bag 100 appearances on Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Nicki tallies next to the likes of Glee cast, Drake, Lil Wayne and Elvis Presley to become the fifth artist per record to have a triple-digit appearance totals on the Hot 100, which blends streaming, airplay and sales data. Glee Cast tops the record setting with 207 entries, followed by Drake with 191, Lil Wayne with 160 and Elvis Presley with 108.
On the Hot 100 chart debuts of Nicki, she boasts of 17 top 10 spots, the most among female rappers. In 2014, she rose to No.2 with ‘Anaconda’ and recently ranked in the top 10 featured, with Murda Beatz, on 6ix9ine’s “FEEFE,” which reached No.3 in August. Nicki’s 100 round-up on the chart is credited to her featured rap on Tyga’s track “Dip” debuting at No.83 on the survey dated Nov.10.
She first entered the list in February 2010 as featured on Lil Wayne’s “Knockout,” which placed No.44 on the chart. Following Nicki keenly in the race are; Jay-Z (98), Kanye West (93), James Brown (91) and Chris Brown (90).
