The daily Twitter star feud continues as rapper Nicki Minaj and ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels air some grievances that sprouted up in their relationship when they were dating.
The back-and-forth feud began after Nicki granted an interview with radio station, Hot 97, where she addressed some issues in her relationship with Safaree. Samuel, who was not happy with some of the utterances Nicki made on air, took to Twitter to start the revelation. Cited in one of his tweets, Safaree stated that Nicki cut him once, but he only assumed responsibility for Nicki’s action because he didn’t want her to go to jail.
“Remember the night you cut me and I almost died the police and ambulance had to take me out the crib on a stretcher and I had to lie to them I was trying to kill myself so they wouldn’t take you to jail. When things like that start happening more than once it’s time to dip, ” tweeted Safaree.
Clapping back at her ex, Nicki also let the cat out of the bag in her tweet by revealing how Safaree used her card once and told her it was an account with free money.
“U stole my card & told me you thought it was an account with “free money” that I didn’t know about,” she wrote. She then called her ex a liar, “God will strike you down & more for lying Ha! stop saying u packed & left! On Jesus u came to my house CRYING BEGGING to go with me to Europe to the EMA’s. I said NO DUMMY.”
The Twitter backlash became intense as Safaree penned down about how the status of their relationship really was and bringing in Nicki’s other ex, Meek Mill into the picture.
“We know each other inside out. Everything there was for us. I didn’t use your card for prostitutes. We both didn’t trust each other. You did shit I did shit. You said you were messing with Meek few years b4 y’all got together and I’m not mad at that,” he tweeted.
Samuels went ahead to add more detail about their toxic relationship. “I did things for spite and so did you. I don’t wish you bad and I don’t want us back together just like I’m sure you don’t. I don’t need you you don’t need me but we will always be linked in the public no matter what,” he said.
After the back-to-back backlash from both sides, Safaree tweeted with words that shows he has no bad feelings for the rapper and also offered her some advice for her own sake.
“I still don’t have no hate for you cuz I’m happy in my own mind now. Enjoy your album dropping.” He added, “And stop letting these ppl see you sweat. This ain’t you. You too big to act the way you be acting. No 1 on ur level acts like that. Period.”
Minaj then posted a picture of herself sipping some Starbucks iced tea with the caption that most definitely shifted feud attention to something positive related to her album.
“If you rock with me & this album, let’s switch our focus back to the positive stuff ONLY. I’m so proud of #Queen. People would kill to release such a critically acclaimed body of work. I’m in a great mood & you should be in one too!!! To GOD be the Glory!’ she tweeted.
