The 33rd queen has been born!
Hailing from the Central region of Ghana, Nana Ama Benson 23, was crowned on Saturday, September 29 as Miss Ghana 2018.
Nana Ama Benson won the coveted Miss Ghana crown after a colourful display of performances against the nine other delegates who all made it to the final stage. Aside the crown, Nana also won Beauty with a Purpose, Most Disciplined, Miss Bikini and Miss Eloquence Awards during the night. She drove home a Mahindra KUV 100 official car.
As part of her new title as Miss Ghana 2018, Nana Ama will represent Ghana at the 2018 Miss World competition in Sanya, China come December 8, 2018 where she will face off with other international beauty queens to bring home the most enviable Miss World crown. Nana Ama will also be volunteering with Exclusive Events Ghana and Miss Ghana Foundation for a period of one year as well as enjoy a platinum gym membership at the ultra-modern Pippa’s Health Center in Accra. She will receive products from Samsung/Electroland and other sponsors aside a monthly allowance of 1000ghc.
The event which took place at the Mariott Hotel, was graced with performances from legendary highlife performer Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Wendy Shay, Saxophonist and Steve Bedi.
