After weeks of intense competition on TV3’s Talented Kidz show, Nakeeyat Dramani has emerged winner after facing off the grand finale alongside 7 other kidz competitors.
Nakeeyat, came in as a spoken word artist, who talked on topics ranging from sanitation, corruption, wearing made-in-Ghana goods through-out the 13 weeks of stage performances. The 7-year-old winner took home a cash prize of 10,000 cedis together with a 15,000 cedis educational fund, a paid trip to United Kingdom and several products from sponsors for her winning package.
The second place was taken by Saxophonist, Phronesis Nene Kwadwo Sackitey, who took home 8,000 cedis cash prize, 10,000 cedis educational fund and souvenirs from sponsors. Singer, Prince Okyere, scored the third spot winning 6,000 cedis cash prize, 8,000 cedis educational fund and souvenirs from sponsors as well. Fourth place was taken by the Ashaiman based dancehall artist/rapper SconzyGH, who was also rewarded with 4,000 cedis cash prize and a 7,000 cedis educational fund, plus souvenirs from sponsors of the show.
Audience present at the National Theater where the finale was hosted were entertained by award winning acts Kuami Eugene and Stonebwoy who performed some of his hit songs ‘People Dey’ and ‘Kpoo Keke’ with finalist SconzyGH. Eddi Khae and season 9 winner Yung King Clef also took turns on stage to entertain audience present. The show graced by 2012 VGMA Gospel artist of the year, Gifty Osei and actress Benedicta Gafah.
