It’s another milestone for the only and oldest Hiplife Group that has survived the test of time with so much to celebrate.
After 20 years of back-to-back hits in Ghana, Nigeria and across the world as well as notable CSR activities such as Drug Abuse campaigns, Sallafest, Sanitation Campaigns among others, VIP as was the original name of the group from the very beginning is calling on the music industry in Ghana and across the world to join them in celebrating how far the Almighty God has brought them.
On 27th April, 2018 at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Axiss shipping, Rigworld Training Center and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture will join forces to officially launch the ‘VIP@20 CELEBRATION’ across the country.
The 20th-anniversary celebration is set to outdoor the long-held dream of the group to establish a 200-bed mother and child hospital for the people of Nima and Zongo communities across Accra and beyond.
For the many fans out there; young and old, it is time to relive the story of VIP/VVIP, widely known as a peaceful group with a big heart for good music, positive vibes and a big desire for touching lives.
The group VIP/VVIP has gone through a lot of transformations over the years bringing together the finest guys in the industry who have made significant contributions towards the establishment of a working music industry today, recognized by corporate Ghana and notable industry related institutions across the world.
As the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards approach this Saturday, VVIP has made a call to the organizers and all industry players to celebrate artistes and other celebrities for their great contributions while they are alive.
“If we can do this effectively as a country, it will be a great source of encouragement and motivation for artistes to achieve more and do more in respect to being ambassadors in making Ghana our motherland a great nation,” they said.
VVIP further called on all stakeholders to “join in making the celebrations a successful one. The anniversary celebrations and CSR is being managed by Schoolmate Investments with all production segments taken care of by Palm Media”.
