Multichoice Ghana, has issued a debunking statement about images circulating on social media of a possible Big Brother Ghana edition.
Scripted on the twitter handle of DSTV Ghana, baby company to Multichoice lamented the need for fans already hurrying themselves to be a part of the show to turn a deaf ear to the announcement, “MultiChoice Ghana has taken note of an image making rounds on various social media platforms depicting a Big Brother Ghana’ logo. Please be aware that this is fake news as MultiChoice has no plans to launch Big Brother Ghana’ edition.”
The statement continued, “Members of the public are advised to be wary of any scams related to this as there are no plans to launch a Ghana edition of Big Brother. MultiChoice Ghana will duly keep our customers informed of any major announcements via our official DSTV & GOtv communications channel.”
The popular ‘Big Brother’ reality show has enjoyed massive hits on screen and on social media where laudable fans of the show have stayed up hours beyond count during its 90 days with housemates. Recently wrapped up in Nigeria with the fourth season of ‘Big Brother Naija’, Ghanaians became addict lovers of the show and as such were hopeful for created version of their own, but it seems the cards are not playing well in our favor for a ‘Big Brother Ghana’.
