Mo Abubu is a first-time grandmother and of course, she announced it in the typical Abudu way of doing things.
While other grandmothers may opt for a posted picture with them and their grandchild(ren) relaxed in their arms, Abudu made her new status known the Instagram way with a poster capturing her elegance and scripted, “21.02.20 Special Day I became a Grandma today. Lord I praise You. ?.”
Her new bragging right is thanks to her daughter Temidayo Abudu, who married Adebola Makanjuola in an exclusive garden-themed ceremony at Hummingbird Nest Ranch, California last year. The ceremony was graced by family and few friends of the bride and groom making it an ideal occasion setting the Nigeria trend of weddings on a different scale.
Forbes may have named Abudu Africa’s Most Successful Woman in 2013, but her new found status quo supersedes everything she has accomplished over the years.
