Former US First Lady, Michelle Obama has been voted No.1 as most admired woman in the world. The survey, which was conducted by YouGov, places Queen Elizabeth II at number 4, next to Angelina Jolie occupying the number 3 slot.
Oprah Winfrey comes in second with Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra taking up number 14 while the present US First Lady Melania Trump leaning at number 19 in her debut name appearance on the annual curated list. The survey was concluded based on data collected from 41 different countries with a total of 42,000 people answering questions such as, ‘Who do you truly admire?’ and ‘Who do you most admire?’
A detailed analysis per each country’s submission revealed that Queen Elizabeth is most admired in Britain generating a percentage of 22.61, whiles the former first lady follows keenly at number 2 with 13 percent and actress Dame Judi Dench, at number 3 with 7.66 percent.
The Most Admired Men also has on its score sheet, Microsoft founder Bill Gates at number 1 and former US president Barack Obama at number 2. Renowned Chinese actor Jackie Chan came third.
Taylor Swift, Madonna, Hilary Clinton plus other famous female leaders and entertainers all made it on the 2019 list. Check below for the full list of names in order of appearance.
