Black Panther star actor, Michael B. Jordan has been named as recipient for the 2018 Trailblazer Award at the annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Celebration.
Michael will receive the Trailblazer Award for creating an Omaze campaign benefiting the non-profit during the release of his film Creed. He is also being recognized for visiting the children supported by Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The event which will be hosted by Comedian Orny Adams will also present the Walt Disney Man of the Year Award honoree to ICM Partners’ Chris Silbermann who is also chairman of the Board of Entertainment industry Foundation, which creates initiatives such as the Stand Up to Cancer live telethon. LAPD Police Commission president Steve Soboroff and Terry A. Williams will also be awarded with the Golden Legacy Award.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is an American non-profit organization whose goal is to help all children reach their potentials through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with volunteer mentors.
