Model, philanthropist and former Miss Universe Ghana, Menaye Donkor, who is now Miss Universe Ghana 2017 National Director, has postponed the launch of the pageant which was scheduled for June 1, to mourn the loss of her father-in-law.
A statement from the wife of Ghanaian midfielder. Sully Muntari said: “Sorry to inform you that due to the death of my father-in- aw, the Press Launch event scheduled for June 1 has been postponed to the 8th of June. I am deeply sorry for any inconveniences. Thank you for your continuous support. I still look forward to seeing you.”
Sulley Muntari has lost his father Alhaji Muniru after battling illness. Alhaji Muniru aka ‘Coach’ who has been unwell for a period, passed on Monday afternoon.
He passed on at the 37 Military Hospital on Monday afternoon after he was rushed there on Sunday evening following excessive pain.
He is also the father of midfielder Muniru Muntari, who plies his trade in Romania FC Steaua București.
