The Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards has over the years seen women dominate the red carpet through their sweeping gowns and diamond jewels worn as an accompanied accessory. Through the six seasons shown so far, we have seen Genevieve Nnaji and Dr Omotala Jalade-Ekeinde serve two looks in one night causing huge headlines during and after the show.
Despite the usual culture of red-carpet been a favorite of women, men that have graced the prestigious AMVCA red carpet have delivered dapper looks that engulfs the true definition of a modern-day African man in style. If the 2018 AMVCA is anything to go by, then it’s clear that men in film are also rising up to the occasion of best dressed stars on the carpet.
