At the night to celebrate personalities in radio and television, a three-man squad made up of Kidi, Kuami Eugene and Wendy Shay, representing the new school class of artists will perform alongside the old school Hip-hop/rap artist Okomfo Kwadee at the 8th annual Adonko Radio and Television Personalities Award (RTP).
Lynx entertainment signees, Kidi and Kuami Eugene will mount the RTP stage come October 6 to wow audience with their hit songs such as Adiepena, Wish Me Well, Angela, Odo and more, whiles the Rufftown Records’ first lady, Wendy Shay will also take her turn on stage to thrill audience with her lauded stage craft performance a she is tipped to perform her popular songs Bedroom Commando and Uber Driver.
Okomfo Kwadee, who has been in rehab for some time now treating his mental health issues will however shut the auditorium down with his late 90s and early 2000s hit songs, Obaa No, Ahwedee Abena, Yeko Mmaa Pe, Ofie Nipa and more.
The Radio and Television Personality Awards is the biggest award scheme in Ghana, which seeks to honor the achievements of media personalities in the year under review. Notable names in the media fraternity such as Nana Aba Anamoah, Stacey Amoateng, Berla Mundi, Natalie Fort, Kofi Okyere Darko and many others all scored nominations this year.
