Multiple Grammy award-winning singer, Justin Bieber is reportedly engaged to top model, Hailey Baldwin.
In a report by E! News, the two got engaged over the weekend on a trip to Bahamas after their rekindled relationship. “They are engaged and it happened Saturday night in front of a crowd in Barker’s bay. Justin made arrangements for the ring when they were in NYC and knew that he wanted to propose to her. It was a sudden decision but Justin always knew Hailey and him had a special bond that was incomparable,” E! News reports.
Justin and Hailey have had an on and off relationship since they sparked romance rumors three years ago. They most recently rekindled their relationship several weeks ago, taking trips together to Miami and New York city.
The duo has over the years in their on and off relationship been involved romantically with other names in the entertainment industry. First to make romance headlines with the Canadian singer, Bieber is Selena Gomez, who has been tagged with the singer since the inception of his career. Their recent romantic fall was in March this year.
At the May celebrity studded MET Gala, Hailey made a red carpet debut with singer, Shawn Mendes, which also sparked up rumors they were dating. Both Shawn and Hailey however never confirmed their relationship status, but kept on sharing pictures of each other at the ball on their Instagram pages.
The engagement comes two weeks after Hailey purged her Instagram account of photos of Shawn Mendes, to whom she had been linked romantically over the past few months.
However, both Selena and Shawn have not commented on the engagement. Selena in an Instagram story posted by her friend and assistant Theresa Mingus on Sunday appears to be having a fun moment with her friends as she is seen lounging on a small luxury yacht.
Although, Justin and Hailey have not come out publicly to announce it. Bieber’s father have taken to twitter expressing his excitement over his sons decision, paving way for the report affirmation.
“ @justinbieber proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!” said Bieber’s father, Jeremy.
