Actress/MC extraordinaire, Joselyn Dumas in a rant on twitter has demanded payment from the organizers of 3Music awards.
In March this year, the maiden edition of the 3Music awards took place at the Fantasy Dome. The event, which attracted huge crowds from the public domain and celebrities was hosted by hip/hop sensation D-Black and Joselyn Dumas.
In a series of tweets posted by the Adam’s Apples’ actress on Wednesday afternoon revealed the unsettled payment agreement between the actress and the event organizer, Sadeeq.
The actress further went on to give reasons as to why she decided to clap back at the organizers by bringing the intimate issue for the entire twitter community to see. She said in her tweet,
“Maybe if you answer or pick my calls I won’t have to bring it on here @3musicAwards…you want to talk about being professional?? I have been more than patient and civil with Sadeeq and the stories and now my calls are not being answered…it’s unfortunate it had to get here!!!!”
According to the actress, things like this in the entertainment industry are part of the stagnation in the industry.
“These are some of the things causing stagnation in our industry…you hire a talent, you don’t pay for over 4 months now, how do you expect us to survive as talents?? @3musicAwards enough of the stories!!! I need my money!!!” said Joselyn in another tweet.
Her co-host of the night, D-Black has however not spoken on the matter since yesterday as to whether or not he too has not being paid for his service. The organizers have also remained silent with regards to Joselyn’s tweets.
