Fashion has its own rules just like any other thing, but time and things are changing so there are certain rules you can now safely break in fashion.
IT’S OKAY TO MIX BLACK AND BROWN
Though it’s a safe play to wear everything to match, in fashion, everything is literally about taking risk and that makes it fun. Wearing black denim pants and brown shoes is okay and really a safe thing to do or an all-black outfit with a brown wrist-watch. It has great visually appealing effect.
IT’S OKAY TO MIX METALS (GOLD & SILVER)
These days jewelers are being creative and taking risks as well -they are making accessories (watches sunglasses, bracelet etc.), merging different metals like gold and silver together.
PS: Do not mix rose-gold and gold jewelry.
DITCH THE SOCK SOMETIMES
For the guys, we have to ditch the socks sometimes and begin to accept the “no socks game.” For instance, you do not have to necessarily wear socks with loafers as it doesn’t come off well.
DRESS UP YOUR SNEAKERS
Dress up your sneakers, gentlemen! Gone are the days where we used to wear only suits or blazers with shoes. As earlier pointed out, times are changing now so it’s safe to wear sneakers with suits.
PS: Trainers are a no-no. Sneakers like the Stan-smith Common projects are a good choice and if you have a lot to spend you can check out brands like Saint Laurent and Gucci.
WEAR DENIM ON DENIM
It has consciously or sub-consciously become one of today’s go to street style looks.
