Hip-hop rising star XXXTentacion has been shot dead by unknown gunmen on Monday afternoon at South Florida. The rapper was confirmed dead after being taken to a local hospital.
According to reports from E1 News, which was confirmed to them by the Broward County Sheriff’s office, the shooting incident started at Deerfield Beach 3;57 p.m. local time when two of the unknown gunmen approached the Florida native, who was leaving RIVA Motorsports in his vehicle and shot him dead. Authorities however, have taken the case to be a robbery attempt and started their investigations.
The rapper became known in the music circle for his hit track SoundCloud. In 2017, he released his debut album, 17. ?, which was his second album topped the charts in March this year.
Few hours before his death, the rapper in an Instagram livestream video reflected on his legacy so far. In the video he made the below utterances,
“Worse things comes to worst, If I f…king die a tragic death and I’m not able to see out my dreams, I at least want to know that the kids perceived my messages and were able to make something of themselves and use it to turn it into something positive. If I’m going to die or ever be a sacrifice, I want to make sure that my life made at least 5 million kids happy”.
Some colleagues of the young Hip-hop star have taken to Twitter to mourn the loss of their brother in the game.
