Stemming from five years of close relationship with Gucci, Harry Styles is leading an inclusive, genderless and ageless fragrance campaign ‘Memoire d’une Odeur for the Italy based fashion house. It was announced at the closing ceremony of Gucci’s 2020 cruise fashion show, which had Styles take the stage with Stevie Nicks for a duet performance.
The campaign features alongside Styles, an electric cast from diverse age range consisting of designer Harris Reed, musician Zumi Rosow, artist Ariana Papademetropoulos, actor Stanislas Klossowski de Rola, artist Olimpia Dior and model Leslie Winer. Shooting the campaign was Gucci’s longtime collaborator Glen Luchford and masterminded by creative director Alessandro Michele and perfumer Alberto Morillas.
Memoire d’une Odeur, mirrors the essence of an inclusivity that defies both gender and age. Coming on sale for Gucci marks another dawn of expansion with the fashion house in 2019. Sticking to its goal in the early parts of this month at the Met Gala where the house announced a reimagination of its beauty offering. Vogue reports that the Italian fashion label has relaunched its Gucci Beauty column with 58 lipsticks available in 38 shades.
The newly introduced Gucci fragrance Memoire d’une Odeur will be available starting from August 2019, accompanied by a release of the advertising campaign that same month.
