Grind Day Remix hit-maker Kwesi Arthur has been nominated for the 2018 BET awards in the viewers’ Choice; Best New International Act category. The announcement was made on Tuesday by the @BET_Africa team on twitter.
With no nomination for Ghana in the Best international Act category this year, music acts and celebrities have taken to Instagram to show support to the young artiste and also edge their fans to do same. Big names in the showbiz industry such as; Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, EL, Sandra Ankobiah and Joselyn Dumas are among the lot of celebrities, who have taken to Instagram in demonstrate their support.
Kwesi Arthur is up against; Sjava (South Africa), Takeamic (France), Iamddb (UK), NOT38 (UK), Prince Waly (France), Sik-K (South Korea), MC Sofia (Brazil), Nailah Blackman (Trinidad and Tobago), Niniola (Nigeria).
The BET awards is slated to take place on June 24 in Los Angeles and will be hosted by Jamie Foxx. Nicci Minaj, Janelle Monae, Migos Ella Mai and more artiste are billed to perform on the night.
