News broke early this morning of the sudden demise of the Former Vice President of Ghana, Paa kwesi Amissah Arthur.
According to reports, the late Former Vice President collapsed at the Air Force Gym early Friday and was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The late Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur was the sixth Vice President of Ghana. He was appointed by Former President John Dramani Mahama to serve as his vice President after the death of the late President, John Evans Atta Mills in August, 2012.
Upon hearing the news of the former Vice President death, the sitting President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Former President, John Dramani Mahama have shared their shock and sympathy to the family and the general public.
His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, who worked hand-in-hand with the late former Vice President during their tenure of office also took to twitter announcing how shocked he is upon hearing the news.
