Following allegations leveled against the organizers of the Miss Ghana Pageant, Exclusive Events Ghana, have issued an official statement daring the queens, who allege to have been exploited and pimped in ways that do not conform to the terms and conditions of the Miss Ghana contract.
The list of names of former queens sued include; Stephanie Karikari, 2010, Giuseppina Nana Akua Baafi, 2013, Antoinette Delali Kemavor, 2015 and 2017 winner, Margaret Dery, who recently relinquished her crown. Interview sections granted by these ladies on media platforms for the past years have ended up with allegations against the brand organizers and also calling out the CEO, Inna Patty a monster in disguise.
Addressing the media yesterday after the 2018 launch, Inna disclosed that they have taken legal actions against the ladies spreading rumors that herself and her team are exploiting them for money.
“Whoever alleges must prove. The queens have said we sent them out to big men for sexual favors before they sponsor. So we would be more happy, prove to us, bring the list. We would be happy to join you to the right security agents to let the right thing be done. Until then, our hands are tied. Nonetheless, based on those allegations we have taken legal action and it is in process,” said Inna.
The organizers of the event have however, released an official statement daring any of the queens claiming to have been sent to big men, who wanted to sexually abuse them, to come up with their names. The statement further reads that the allegations are untrue and only meant to embarrass and ridicule the brand and its CEO, Inna.
