Everyone has a motive for doing something to suit their personality; so is the case of the Academy award winning actress, Emma Stone, who was originally named by birth Emily Stone.
Emma revealed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the cause of her changing her name from Emily to Emma, “I was super blonde, and my real name is Emily, but I wanted to be called Emma because of Baby Spice and guess what, now I am. So, that’s pretty messed up,” Stone said. “It wasn’t necessarily because of her, but yes, in second grade, did I go up to the teacher and ask her to call me Emma? Yes, I did. And was it because of Emma Lee Bunton form the Spice Girls? Yes, it was.”
As an addict follower of the Spice Girls, Emma Stone is preparing to make her third appearance at the upcoming 2019 tour of the group, which will exclude Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham). Emma first made her Spice Girls debut in the 90s and one in 2008. She disclosed, “I will be going to the next tour somehow. I’m gonna figure it out.”
The Academy award winner stars in the 2018 released film The Favorite, which is already generating Oscar buzz for the 92nd show come next year.
