After winning the title as the most talented kid in Ghana last year at the 2017 edition of TV3’s popular kids programme ‘Talented Kidz’, the fame and influence of the 9-year-old kid DJ Switch continues to cross the borders of Ghana.
Serving as an inspiration to many children in Ghana who want nothing but a platform to showcase their talent to the world, DJ Switch has been shortlisted as one of the speakers for the upcoming Goalkeepers 2018.
DJ Switch will join the richest man in the world, Bill Gates and wife Melinda Gates, alongside Grammy winner Ed Sheeran, Fatoumata Diawara, Nancy Kacungira and a host of many to share their stories of challenges, innovation and leadership on the 25-26 September in New York City for the second edition of the Goalkeepers conference.
Started by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Goalkeepers is a multi-year campaign dedicated to accelerating progress towards the U.N Sustainable Development Goals. Using powerful stories, data and partnerships, Goalkeepers highlights progress achieved, holds governments accountable, and brings together a new generation of leaders to address the world’s major challenges.
This year, Goalkeepers will focus on youth population growth and how it affects future world progress. Speakers will showcase how investing in human capital, the health and education of young people unlocks productivity and innovation, reduces poverty, and generates prosperity.
