After dropping and garnering countless positive feedback from the second installment of his mixtape titled ”Afromass”, one of Ghana’s finest DJs, Neizer is here with a third mixtape, one for this festive season and beyond. The mixtape features artists like Sarkodie, RJZ, Darkovibes, Kelvyn Boy, Quamina Mp, Wizkid, Davido, Kwesi Arthur and more with back-to-back hits.
Speaking on his expectations from the new mixtape, DJ Neizer said, ”I’d like to thank everyone who’s been bumping to my mixtapes. This is another dope one and I hope y’all enjoy it and share with the masses. I’m definitely coming with more bigger projects in 2020”.
Earlier this year, DJ Neizer was listed for ”Road to Detty Rave 2019” (Campus Edition), alongside MC Manuel, Tulenkey, Shaker, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Joey B, Lord Paper and more. He thrilled thousands of students to great jams; but one of the big highlights of the night was when he played Kwesi Arthur’s ‘Pray for Me’ which had everybody singing along with great emotion, before switching to energetic back-to-back jams that had the crowd jumping and screaming all night.
DJ Neizer also happens to be a wireless engineer and combines that with his DJ work. The graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology disclosed, ”You can combine regular 9-5 work with being a DJ if you are determined. I work with the biggest technological firm as a wireless engineer but still find time to play at the various events and nightclub because of my ability to combine both”, expressed DJ Neizer.
Coming from a business background, DJ Neizer has a deeper understanding of the arts since his student days, trying to learn what it takes to crisscross genres without losing the attention of his audience. Adrian Emmanuel Neizer Aboagye, known professionally as DJ Neizer, is an award-winning Ghanaian disc jockey. He was awarded the Ghana DJ Awards’ Best Campus DJ in May 2017 for his growing popularity and fandom at various university campuses across the country. DJ Neizer attributes much of his love for music by the support of his mother from a young age. He learned how to play the drums, flute, keyboard and performed often at his church. His interest in mixing as a disc jockey was piqued by observing his uncle, Frankie Taylor, who is a successful DJ and presenter at FOX FM in Kumasi.
DJ Neizer has performed at many major events and opened for artists such as Sarkodie, E.L and Ko-Jo Cue. He was also a producer for the student organization and created large-scaled programs which gained him popularity on campus. He is currently the in-house DJ for Ace Tantra night club in Accra and Echo House Ghana.
