Nigeria’s music powerhouses, Chidinma and Flavour have joined forces for the release of their much-anticipated EP titled ’40yrs (Everlasting).
Soothing songs such as ‘Nkem’, Mma Mma’, ‘Iyawo Mi’, and a bonus track ‘Nkem (Acoustic)’ all feature exclusively on the EP, alongside ’40yrs’, produced by Mastercraft and Flavour, which also doubles as the title of the EP.
This is not the first time the two names Flavour and Chidinma, have collaborated on a song. Back in 2014, Chidinma was featured by Flavour on the love song ‘Ololufe’, a single from his album ‘Thankful’.
Leading music writers in Nigeria Clem, Asuwar, Zicora, Baba Lolija and Chinedu Okoli, served as associate writers on the EP aside the duo, while Flavour executive produced all five tracks under the banner of his music label 2nite Music Group.
Visuals for ’40yrs’ was released at the early hours of today and now available on selected streaming platforms.
