Cardi B will make her feature film acting debut in Hustlers, an upcoming drama based on a 2016 New York Magazine article about strippers who scheme on their white collar, Wall Street clients.
The rapper joins a cast that includes Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Keke Palmer, Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart, and Julia Stiles. Hustlers is written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, and filming will begin on March 22, 2019.
While she’s taking up acting, Cardi B’s music career shows no sign of stopping. She recently released the song “Please Me” with Bruno Mars and appeared on a remix to Blueface’s “Thotiana.” Her debut album Invasion of Privacy won the 2019 Grammy for Best Rap Album.
