Cardi B is following up her acting prowess after ‘Hustlers’ with a debut appearance in Universal Studio’s hit action drama ‘Fast & Furious 9’.
The pop singer was captured in a posted video by Vin Diesel, taking a break from the many takes from the U.K. set saying, “I’m tired, but I can’t wait. I ain’t gonna front, I think this is going to be the best one.”
The 9th installment has on board Justin Lin, who directed the 6th version, as its director. Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron, have all been confirmed to reprise their previous roles in continuation of the story line. John Cena, Finn Cole, and Anna Sawai have also been cast.
Since its cinema debut in 2001, the franchise has generated a total of $5.8 billion in worldwide box office. Dan Casey wrote script and it is set for a May 22, 2020 release.
