Every year, in between award season take over in Hollywood, Variety puts together a studio discussion series where the industry’s most sought-after names either in television or film are paired as duo for a one-hour discussion about Hollywood topics making waves in the year under review.
For the eleventh season set to premiere January 2, 2020, Variety will feature big stars such as;

- Mindy Kaling (“Late Night”) with Constance Wu (“Hustlers”);
- Chris Evans (“Knives Out”) with Scarlett Johansson (“Marriage Story”);
- Laura Dern (“Marriage Story”) with Sterling K. Brown (“Waves”);
- Beanie Feldstein (“Booksmart”) with Florence Pugh (“Little Women”);
- Awkwafina (“The Farewell”) with Taron Egerton (“Rocketman”); and

Recognized by the Emmys as a special class series two times years back, Variety’s ‘Actors on Actors’ has over the years become a focal show where possible Golden Globes, Oscars, SAG Awards and BAFTA winners sit before their win is made reality.
With the award season nominees list coming up next month, the ‘Actors on Actors’ lineup provided could be a foreshadow to which names are set to become busy on headlines early next year.
