The weekend got pretty busy crowning the success stories of some media personalities in Ghana at the annual Radio and Television Awards. In London also was the Ghana Music awards UK event recognizing the efforts of Ghanaian artiste and those in the diaspora (UK).
In as much as celebrities stepped out for a fun and memorable night to celebrate hard work, it came along with its own fashion gala for the red carpet by our top five selected best dressed female celebrities at the RTP Awards and the stage costume of the ever dapper King Promise at the Ghana Music Awards UK.
The Quophi Akotuah Ghana gowns for the RTP Personality of the Year, Stacy Amoateng and the show host Shirley Emma Tibila were on full display as contending gowns had to put in the little extra to matchup. The Laurence Haute Couture over the shoulder green dress for the ace broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah glowed as bright as the personality who wore it. Dolled up in Bri wireduah red gown, the Efiewura star actress and nominee Gloria Sarfo also gave some looks for the books.
Female newscaster of the year winner, Serwaa Amihere did not disappoint with her gown either, as she stepped out to commemorate her victory in a Nadys Chinese collar neck gown. Not much is ever said when it comes to costumes wore by artistes performing on stage, because obviously there isn’t much to it, but the Selfish artiste King Promise did not only mount the stage to wow fans with his performance, but then also set the men’s fashion column on fire with his red puffed jacket and sunglasses matched up with Nike sneakers.
