Away from the disturbing VGMA headline news involving Charles Nii Amah Jr, popular in showbiz circles as Shatta Wale, the award-winning dancehall artiste is set to headline Storm Energy's 'Reign' album concert tour in the north. Serving as brand ambassador for the energizing beverage, Shatta Wale will storm the Tamale Sports Stadium on 8th June, 2019 to entertain the awaiting Shatta Movement fan army based in the northern part of the country, whiles the product launches its marketing campaign in the region. The stage will be shared with Maccasio and other acts from the Tamale fraternity, which includes Wizchild, Fadlan, One Naira, De Donzy, Sapashini, Sabziro, Flower Gaskia and a host of others. The event is sponsored by Storm Energy Drink in collaboration with Global Media Alliance. Tickets are already selling at GHS 50 for VIP and GHS 20 for regular. The 'Reign' album was nominated in the album of the year category at the just concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, but failed to pick up a win.
