Africa's first female country director for IBM Ghana, Angela Kyerematen-Jimoh, has cemented her formidable resume with a stunning addition to the table. The female business executive and mother of two has basked a senior role portfolio at IBM's corporate headquarters located in New York. Forwarded to clients and stakeholders of the company, IBM disclosed that the transfer from Ghana to New York is a recognition of her unmatched hard work since joining the brand. A smidgen of the letter read, "This is a great recognition for her hard work and an exceptional opportunity for her to further hone her skills and provide a deep perspective on Africa at a global level." Paraded as an admirable alum of Wesley Girls Senior High School, Angela's slate of honourable recognitions equals achievements basked by bold-faced corporate entities taking over the world space. In 2018 at our annual Ghana Women of the Year Honours, Angela was awarded 'Corporate Woman of the Year' and has also tallied the recognition by featuring on our top 100 inspirational women list compiled this year. Prior to the 'Ghana Women of the Year' honour, Angela had already enveloped the CEO of the year in 2017 at the Information Technology Service awards and was also ranked as part of the top 50 women corporate leaders in Ghana for both 2016 and 2017 by the Africa Network of Entrepreneurs-TANOE.
