Alicia Keys is adding a new subject to her already incomparable accolades as she zooms into the world of publication come November 5, 2019.
The multiple Grammy award winner and classical pianist will pen down her life story in a part autobiography and part narrative documentary formula titled ‘More Myself’. The book will chronicle her early life in New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen, her fast rise to the top of charts with ‘Fallin’, which sold over 12 million copies worldwide, plus her journey so far in the limelight. Coming on board for the first time, Keys assures readers of not having a one-sided flippy pages, as the book will also ink in a collection of moments shared with those closest to her who have walked beside her in her decades long career path.
‘More Myself’ will be published under Oprah Winfrey’s book imprint ‘An Oprah Book’. Sharing their excitement over their newfound bond, Alicia disclosed, “I couldn’t be more ecstatic to share this part of my journey so far and all the ways I am continuously learning to honor my truth. Alongside my sister, mentor, and friend Oprah, this book is one of the most exciting chapter yet.”
