Long live the queen!
From the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana, Akpene Diata Hoggar has pulled her way through from the audition stage through to the finals to become the queen of the Miss Universe Ghana 2018 pageant. Akpene won the crown on Saturday, September 15, inside the Omanye Hall at the Labadi Beach Hotel where she faced off with 9 other delegates for the crown.
Akpene who is a fashion model/ visual storyteller now doubles as the 20th Miss Universe Ghana queen and will represent Ghana on the international stage come December 2018 at Bangkok, Thailand.
Her price package includes a brand new car, one-year contract with the Lab Modeling Agency in Milan, Italy, one-year contract as the Face of So Aesthetic, one-year supply of GTP (Woodin) Fabrics, makeup products for one year, 10,000 Ghana cedis worth of shoes from Shoe Zone and one-year hair services and spa treatments by First Choice Beauty Salon.
Vanessa Naa Tekor Akuetteh placed 1st Runner-up and Sylvia Naa Commodore placed 2nd Runner-up. They will also receive a six-month supply of GTP (Woodin) fabrics plus So Aesthetics makeup products.
Headed by the country director Menaye Donkor, the Miss Universe pageant aims at empowering young women and breaking barriers in the man’s world.
