Calling all women of colour, are you ready for a truly stylish summer? it’s time to be  introduced  to next generation hair, beauty & fashion brands at the “Hair Care Revolution Pineapple Punch”

A group of innovative  Afro hair and beauty professionals have come together with the aim of revolutionising the afro hair and beauty industries The successful tour of London started in the summer of 2017 and has been growing in popularity ever since.

The purpose of Hair Care Revolution is simple, address the imbalance of power in the black hair and beauty industries and put the power back in the hands of those who actually use the products. With a strong social mobility ethos, Hair Care Revolution are spreading their message of empowerment and development for black owned hair businesses across the country through their own pop up events and collaborations with other likeminded groups . The next pop-up will be at The Yaa arts centre event venue, on Sun 12th April, between 11am-6pm.

With many successful events already under their belt, the upcoming Pineapple Punch Hair Care Revolution pop-up promises to be an educational celebration of all things afro hair, beauty & fashion.

There will be exciting master classes, workshops  and  seminars  such as an industry first: on how to the salon experience can be improved for customers featuring  by some of the best hairdressers & salon owners  in the business , prominent industry figure heads  like Lathaniel Chambers Afro hair stylist of the year 2017 , Work shop  by Makeup artist to the stars Kim Menzies Foster who has styled the likes of rapper Eve , singer Alicia Keys and X factors Alicia Dixon . Expert hair styling techniques by international hair styling legend Dionne Smith who will be involved in a  panel discussion and sharing the latest styling trends. This event will also feature a health and fitness session which encompasses healthy vegan cooking and a session on” How your health effects your hair & skin” alongside our resident trichologist Shirley MacDonald on site to give professional advice.

As a new feature a fashion market boasting some of the best new clothing, accessories and jewellery has been added to this already dynamic event. This special occasion will appropriately represent the best emerging hair beauty and fashion brands the UK has to offer, it’s not to me missed.

A spokesperson for Hair Care Revolution said: “The last 12 months has been amazing the support received from the community, the celebrity stylist and the brands has been overwhelmingly positive, encouraging and inspiring. Our reputation is spreading across the further we could have envisaged with interest in our event now being received from the USA and Europe.
