Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases (ACCES) will kick off today, 28th November at Alliance Française with the Welcome Ceremony and the Music In Africa Honorary Award ceremony where Ghanaian legends Ebo Taylor and Bibie Brew will be awarded for their outstanding contribution to Africa’s Music Industry.
Following the awards, there will also be a live showcase featuring Yaa Yaa, Kyekyeku and Ghanalogue Highlife, Songhoy Blues(UK/Mali), ARKA’N (Togo)
On Friday and Saturday, the panels, workshops and artist discussions will take place each day from 9am to 6pm at the Ghana Academy of Arts & Sciences.
Friday night, 29th November, the artist showcase featuring FOKN Bois, Bholoja (Eswatini), Cina Soul, Gato Preto (Germany/Ghana/Mozambique) will take place at the Gold Coast Hub.
Saturday night, 30th November, the artist showcase featuring FRA! Mokoomba, Sibusile Xaba, and Lucia de Carvalho will take place back at Alliance Francais.
