Award-winning actress, Nana Ama McBrown marked her 41st birthday yesterday by donating to the female inmates at Nsawam prison, Accra.
The items which were loaded in her McBrown’s kitchen truck included double boxes of Tasty Tom, Hisense TV, Soft Care Sanitary Pad, Mosquito Coils, packaged food and many more. In a video posted by blogger, Eugene of Nkonkonsa.com, the actress disclosed that the Lord has been good to her in the past year and as such triggered her to celebrate the birthday with the prisoners.
“I am grateful to the Lord for today. I decided not to celebrate my birthday, but spend the day with the female inmates at Nsawam prison. Throughout the year the Lord has given me many endorsement deals, given me blessings and helped me in so many ways,” said Nana. She added that she deducted and added some of the money from her church tithe to make the donation, “I took a percentage from the tithe I pay at church and added some to it to make this donation to my sisters so they also feel appreciated.”
The Glitz Style awards nominee, who has shown how appreciative she is about how her fans hail her also disclosed in her presentation that she knows many of her fans watch her on TV and have not met her before. She believed they would be happy to see her.
Nana Ama is nominated in three categories for the 2018 Glitz Style Awards namely, Best Dressed Celebrity of the Year, Social Media Style Influencer of the year and Movie Personality of the year.
