The much-anticipated Business of Fashion Seminar finally came to an end with smiles over the faces of students as emerging designers show off much enthusiasm to compete with other fashion brands and become better.
The annually held Glitz Africa Business of fashion Seminar hosted over 500 fashion students and emerging designers this year at the Grand Arena (Accra International Conference Centre) featuring speakers like Stefania Manfreda of Lokko House, Daniel Sarpong (Sales coach), Deladem Ephraim-Etsey (Fashion Consultant), Percy Nii Okine (3D Visualizer), Kwasi Kyei Darkwah (Media & Culture Expert), Mellisa C. The seminar had three panel sessions on BRAND MARKETING IN A DIGITAL ERA, DIGITAL FASHION and PSYCHOLOGY OF FASHION – HOW TO GAIN BRAND LOYALTY with three moderators being Dela Michel, Chrystal Kwame-Aryee and Helen Appiah -Ampofo.
It was an interactive and impactful session with fashion students getting to know more about setting their brand in this digital era and emerging designers getting to know more about the fashion trend -Digital fashion. We had students opening up about their fashion brands and questions they had about setting up a fashion brand.
A slot was given to Hubtel where their Product Manager, Kofi Adjei educated the guests present and startups about who they are and what use they could be to them and their businesses. There was a break out session which was mainly a short video on Digital fashion. The day ended well as students interacted and networked with the moderators and panel speakers.
